Beverly Helms

Jeanerette – Graveside services will be conducted for Beverly Dunn “Bev” Helms, 72, on Tuesday, November 29, 2016, at 10:30 AM at Beau Pre Memorial Park Cemetery with Father Jody Simoneaux officiating.

A native of Princeton, KY, and a resident of Jeanerette, Mrs. Helms passed away on Saturday, November 26, 2016, at 8:56 PM at Maison Teche Nursing Home in Jeanerette.

She enjoyed crocheting, reading, Pokeno, bingo and going to the casino. She also loved her family very much.

She is survived by her daughters, Melinda Greene and her husband John and Lisa Helms and her companion Jimmy Gonzalez all of Jeanerette; her grandchildren, Ashley Greene and her finace’ Matthew Bourque, Katie Greene all of Jeanerette and Tiffany Greene Rhoads and her husband Zachary of Erath. She was also survived by two brothers and one sister.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John David “J.D.” Helms; her parents, William Dunn and Sue Singleton Radford and three brothers.

Serving as pallbearers will be John Greene, Jimmy Gonzalez, Zachary Rhoads, Matt Bourque, Antoine Perez and Kevin Helms.
