Weakless Joseph Leblanc Sr.

Jeanerette ~ A Mass of Christian burial for Mr. Weakless Joseph LeBlanc, age 85, will be held on Thursday, December 1, 2016 at 11:00AM at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church of Jeanerette with Father Jody Simoneaux serving as the officiant.  Interment will follow at Beau Pré Cemetery.

Visitation for Mr. LeBlanc will begin Wednesday, November 30, 2016 from 3:00PM until 9:00PM, with a recitation of the Rosary at 6:00PM.  Visitation will resume Thursday, December 1, 2016 from 8:00AM until 10:45AM at David Funeral Home of Jeanerette.

Mr. LeBlanc never met a stranger that he could not make smile or feel more welcomed.  He cherished every available minute he spent with his family and his large number of friends he thought of as his extended family.  Known by many as “Black” or “Blacky”, there will be a noticeable void found in his absence.  Reared with a strong work ethic and unwavering moral character, Mr. LeBlanc spent most his life as a Motorman in oil filed production.

Mr. LeBlanc leaves behind to cherish his memories his Daughters, Sharon Petkovich, Lynn LeBlanc, Tina Baudoin and husband Brent, all of Jeanerette; his Son, Weakless “TD Boy” LeBlanc, Jr. of Jeanerette; Grandchildren, Trent Sonnier, Tadd Gonzales, Chase Petkovich, Nickey Landry, Jared Landry, and Cody Broussard; Great Grandchildren; Kaydence Gonzales, Jayden Boutte, Jasper Landry, Kaylem Sonnier, Kenzie Sonnier, Aiden Sonnier, Alijah Sonnier and Kash Petkovich; and his Best Friend Mr. Howard Buteaux.

Mr. LeBlanc was preceded in death by his Wife, the former Miss Joyce Bourque, his father, Mr. Demas LeBlanc, mother; the former Miss Camille Crochet; Son, Chad LeBlanc; Brothers, Demas Donnie LeBlanc and L.J. Morvant.

Upholding the honor of Pallbearer will be Lynn LeBlanc, Cody Broussard Tadd Gonzales, Chase Petkovich, Jared Landry, Nickey Landry and Chance Gonzales.  Honorary Pallbearer will be Howard Buteaux.
