Una Terrebonne

A Mass of Christian Burial for Una R. Terrebonne, 90, will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, December 22, 2016 at St. Anne Catholic Church in Youngsville with Rev. Ed Degeyter as Celebrant. Readings for the mass will be done by Crystal Monte and Tommy Breaux. Visitation will be held Wednesday December 21, 2016 from 4:00 pm until 9:00 pm with a recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 PM and will resume Thursday morning at 8:00 am until just prior to service time. Interment will follow church services at St. Anne Cemetery .

Born on March 18, 1926 in Youngville, LA Una enjoyed camping with friends, playing bingo, baking pralines, and preserving figs, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Gail and Jerald Maturin of Coteau, LA; daughter, Pat Trimble, also of Coteau, LA; son and son-in-law, Danny Terrebonne and Tommy Breaux of Houston, TX; four grandchildren, Crystal Monte, Chad Maturin, Angela Breaux, all of Coteau, LA and Roxie Prioux of Loreauville, LA; nine great grandchildren, one great great grandson, and one sister, Rita Hulin of Youngsville, LA.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Woodrow J. Terrebonne; parents, Ozife and Editha Romero; son-in-law, Johnny Trimble; brothers, Pierre Romero, Ophie Romero, Odressie Romero, Andre Romero, Willis Romero, Levigne Romero; sisters, Ozile R. Gary, Euphemie R. Hollier, Eunice Romero, Marie Romero.

Pallbearers will be Chad Maturin, Cain Maturin, Cade Monte, Chance Monte, Bryce Lancon, and Tyler Breaux.

Honorary pallbearers will be Crystal Monte, Dwight Frith, Angela Breaux, Blake Chachere, Roxie Prioux, Lacy Prioux, Nicole Maturin, Carolyn Monte, Erika Monte, Kali Maturin, Cristen Monte, Logan Breaux, Hayden Prioux, and Fischer Monte.

Gift bearers will be Angela Breaux, Roxie Prioux, and Logan Breaux.
