Judy Meyers Derouen

New Iberia – Funeral services will be conducted for Judy Meyers Derouen, 67, at 2:00 PM on Friday, December 30, 2016, in the David Funeral Home Chapel with Deacon Patrick Burke officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Visitation will be on Thursday, December 29, 2016, from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM and will continue on Friday, December 30, 2016, at 9:00 AM until 2:00 PM. A rosary will be prayed in the funeral home on Thursday at 7:00 PM.

A native and resident of New Iberia, Mrs. Derouen passed away on Monday, December 26, 2016, at 5:14 PM at her residence.

She enjoyed spending time with family and friends and will be deeply missed.

She is survived by her sister, Diana Meyers Bonin of Catahoula; her brothers, Allen Meyers and his wife Sherald of New Iberia and Alton Meyers and his wife Judy of Delcambre.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert J. Derouen; her parents, Sylvest Meyers and Mae Segura Meyers and her grandparents, Anitus and Elena Bonin Segura and Aymar and Eva Lancon Meyers.

Pallbearers will be Wilton Gary, Jr., William Gary, Keith LeBlanc, Jonathan LeBlanc, Tyler Hotard and Brandon Verginal.

Honorary pallbearer will be Jamie Meyers.
