Milton Judice

Loreauville – Funeral services will be conducted for Milton Thomas Judice, 92, at 2:00 PM on Monday, January 2, 2017, at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Bill Melancon officiating. Readers for the mass will be R. J. Robicheaux and Buddy Hebert and Gift Bearers will be Libby Burleson-Porras and Carley Judice. Burial will follow in All Saints Mausoleum.

Visitation will be on Monday, January 2, 2017, from 9:00 AM until 1:45 PM. A rosary will be prayed in the funeral home at 11:00 AM.

A resident of Lafayette, a native and longtime former resident of Loreauville, Mr. Judice passed away on Thursday, December 29, 2016, at 3:23 PM at his residence.

Mr. Judice was a retired sugar cane farmer. He was tight with his money but generous with his time and vegetables. He was always ready with a pot of coffee for his visitors. He now joins his wife of 68 years who died on May 23, 2016.

He is survived by his son Terry Judice and his partner Frank Arceneaux of Lafayette; his grandchildren, Libby Burleson-Porras and her husband James of Austin, TX and Philip Judice and his wife Carley of Lafayette; his daughter-in-law, Jacqueline Judice of Lafayette and his sisters, Eunice Oubre of Loreauville and Ida Robicheaux of St. Martinville.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 68 years, Rena Laviolette Judice; his parents, Delma Thomas Judice, Sr. and Rosa Dugas Judice and his brothers, Shelby Judice, Delma Judice, Jr. and Ralph Judice.

Pallbearers will be Terry Judice, Frank Arceneaux, Philip Judice, James Burleson-Porras, Dennis Pitre, Jimmy Girouard and David Judice.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to caregivers, Tamsyn Smith and Gail Arceneaux.

Memorial may be sent to the American Heart Association or St. Joseph Diner of Lafayette.
