Charlene Poirrier

New Iberia – Memorial services will be conducted for Charlene Felps Poirrier, 58, on Tuesday, January 10, 2017, at 10:00 AM in the David Funeral Home Chapel with Father Brian Harrington officiating.

A gathering of the family and friends will be on Tuesday, January 10, 2017, from 9:00 AM until 10:00 AM at David Funeral Home in New Iberia.

Born in New Iberia and resided in Coteau, Mrs. Poirrier passed away on Saturday, January 7, 2017, at 6:25 AM at her residence.

She enjoyed baking cakes. She loved her family especially her grandchildren, her dogs and her favorite dog, Bri.

She is survived by her husband, Brent Poirrier, Sr.; her children, Brent Poirrier, Jr. and his wife Laynee, Brad Poirrier and his wife Liza, Brenda Hite and her husband Donald all of Coteau and Beau Poirrier and his fiance’ Falon Legnon of Kaplan; her sisters, Charlotte Estave of Texas and Cheryl Felps of Carencro and her grandchildren, Tony, Cheyenne, Alayna, Chloe, Zoey and Sara Poirrier and Dalayna Hite.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Felps and Theresa Gonzales Felps.
