Julian Curtis

Jeanerette – Funeral services will be conducted for Julian Curtis, 55, on Thursday, January 19, 2017, at 3:00 PM at David Funeral Home with Deacon Joseph C. Thomas as celebrant. Burial will follow in St. John Cemetery.

Visitation will be on Thursday, January 19, 2017 from 8:00 AM until services.

A native and resident of Jeanerette, Julian passed away on Saturday, January 14, 2017 at 7:03 PM at his residence. He enjoyed farming all of his life and drove tractors for various farmers since he was able to drive and loved doing mechanic work on tractors and automobiles.

He is survived by his mother, Elnora Gary of Jeanerette; daughters, Chassity Curtis Daniels and her husband Johnny of New Iberia and Stephanie Curtis of New Iberia; step-son, Enos Landry and his wife Shonda of Jeanerette; siblings, Glenna Parria and husband Michael of Jeanerette, Henry Curtis, Jr and friend Angela Landry of Jeanerette, Michael Curtis and his wife Margaret of New Iberia, Juella Owens and her husband Hilton, Sr., of Franklin, Vickie Lopez and her husband Melvin of Jennings, Carl Curtis and his friend Eric Fangue of Florida and Karissa Jones of Jeanerette; five grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Henry Joseph Curtis, Sr. of Franklin.

Pallbearers will be Glenna Parria, Henry Curtis, Jr, Michael Curtis, Juella Owens, Vickie Lopez, Carl Curtis and Karissa Jones.
