Heather Lanie

Visitation will be on Tuesday, February 14, 2017 from 8:30 AM until time of services.

A native and resident of New Iberia, Heather was called home to be with the Lord on Friday, February 10, 2017 with her family around her. She had formerly worked for Trinity Lift Boats and held an Associate Degree in Accounting. She enjoyed her family time and those with her sisters, brothers and grandchildren.

She is survived by her son, Joshua Lanie and his fiancée Meagan Morvant of New Iberia; mother, Lois Lawhon Lanie of New Iberia; two sisters, Rhonda Lanie of Youngsville and Julia Lanie of New Iberia; brother, Wilfred Cyril Lanie, III of Broussard; fiancée, Ronnie Aucoin of New Iberia; three grandchildren, Kaylin, Aiden and Aubrey Lanie; two nieces, Brianna Lanie and Ashley Nicole Motto and her daughter Cameron Elise.

She was preceded in death by her father, Wilfred Cyril Lanie, Jr.

Pallbearers will be Joshua Lanie, Ronnie Aucoin, Wilfred  “W.C.” Cyril Lanie, III, J. C. Daugherty and Julia Lanie. Joey Aucoin will serve as an honorary pallbearer.

The family would like to express their gratitude to the nurses of St. Joseph Hospice for their love and support which was extended to them during this time.
