Scott Joseph Hebert

New Iberia – Funeral services will be conducted for Scott Joseph Hebert, 54, at 10:00 am on Saturday, March 4, 2017, in the David Funeral Home Chapel with Father Buddy Breaux officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Visitation will be on Friday, March 3, 2017, from 3:00 pm until 9:00 pm and resume on Saturday, March 4, 2017, at 8:00 am until the service time. A rosary will be prayed by the Men’s Rosary Group on Friday at 7:00 pm.

A native and resident of New Iberia, Scott passed away on Tuesday, February 28, 2017, at 9:53 am at his residence.

He was an avid collector, enjoyed bowling and going on cruises.

He is survived by his mother, JoAnn Hebert Hoffman of Lafayette; his brothers, Barry Hebert of Lafayette, Dirk Hebert and his wife Cindy of New Smyrna Beach, FL and Chris Hebert and his wife Sybil of Lafayette; his step-brothers, Neil Hoffman of Lafayette and Wilburn Hoffman and his wife Claudia of Channel View, TX; his sister, Tanzie Duhon and her husband Kevin of Lafayette; his step-sister, Marlene Boudreaux and her husband Barry of Baton Rouge; his uncles, J. C.  Hebert and his wife Loretta of New Iberia and Edgar Kennedy of New Iberia; his aunt, Janice Bourque of Church Point and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Roy Joseph Hebert; his aunt Patsy Kennedy and his brother Kyle Hebert.

Pallbearers will be Chris Hebert, Barry Hebert, Dirk Hebert, Wilburn Hoffman, Barry Boudreaux and Neil Hoffman.

Honorary pallbearers will be Ryan Vasquez and A. J. Hebert.
