Bernie Guillot

New Iberia – A Celebration of Life services will be conducted at a later date for Bernie G. Guillot, 75, who passed away peacefully at a Port Allen Rehabilitation Facility.

A native of St. Martinville, LA and a resident of New Iberia, Bernie passed away on Monday, April 10, 2017 at 5:25 PM. He was a professional truck driver and worked for Texas Star Trucking for five years and Romero’s Trucking Company for three years before his retirement.

He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Shirley Melancon Guillot of New Iberia; two sons, Nicholas Guillot and his wife Joy of Dacono, CO and Gregory Guillot of New Iberia; grandson, Gabriel Guillot of Dacono, CO; brother, Rickie Guillot and his wife Betty of New Iberia; sister, Denise Guillot of New Iberia.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Stanley Guillot and Marie LeBlanc Guillot.
