Lafayette - Funeral service for Jo Anna Landry Delphin, will be held Monday, April 17,
2017 at 1:00 PM in David Funeral Home of Lafayette. With Reverend Donald Pharr
officiating.
Visitation begins at 9:00 AM, until time of services, with a burial immediately following
at St. Michaels Cemetery in St. Martinville.
Jo Anna Landry Delphin, a beloved wife and mother, passed away unexpectedly on April 10,
2017 at the age of 63 at the Big House on Cane River. Jo Anna was born in St. Martinville
on February 13, 1954. She was one of 5 children. She graduated from Ovey Comeaux High School in 1974 and was married to Joseph on November 27, 1977 and they had their children in 1979, 1981, 1983 and 1986. She received her Master of Theology in 1998, Master of Divinity in 2000 and her Doctor of Ministry in 2002 from the Christian Life School of Theology. She was a self described soul winner and we know she was swiftly welcomed through the gates of heaven. Jo Anna was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was a gifted artist, a wonderful cook and a vigilant servant of our Lord. She was often described as the life of the party and her laughter, light and love will be fondly remembered. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends and all who knew her.
Jo Anna is survived by her husband Joseph Phillip Delphin, Jr. and 4 children, Jennifer
Delphin, Jessica Delphin, Joseph Delphin III, Jamie Delphin and 6 grandchildren, Conner
Tullis, Cole Guidry, Eli Guidry, Carter Delphin, Addison Guidry and London Trahan and a sister Connie Landry. She was preceeded in death by her parents Lola M. Breaux and Lawrence Landry; 2 sisters, Laura Etienne and Stephanie Landry and a brother, Larry "June" Landry.
