Deborah "Debbie" Ballard Romero

Lafayette - Funeral service for Debbie Romero, 61, will be held Friday April 21, 2017 at 3:00PM in David Funeral Home with Deacon Cody Miller officiating. Visitation will be held Thursday April 20, 2017 from 3:00PM until 9:00PM with a rosary at 7:00PM and Friday from 8:00AM until time of services. Burial will follow at St. Anne Catholic Cemetery. A resident of Youngsville, Debbie had many enjoyments in life such as scrapping, animals, camping, fishing, bingo, playing cards, and being fierce and feisty but her greatest love was her children, grandchildren, and her great grandchild. Debbie is survived by her husband of 44 wonderful years Russell Romero Sr.; two daughters, Lucinda Romero and her wife Michelle and Laura Huval; four sons, Russell Romero, Jr. and his wife Jamie, Nathan Romero and his wife Cassie, Colbie Romero, and Gregory Eschete; two sisters, Brenda and Rhonda; five brothers, Jammie, Timothy, Dennis, Allen, and Mike; sixteen grandchildren and one great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents.  Pallbearers will be Davin Romero , Lucinda Romero , Mitchel Romero , Gregory Eschete, Josh Romero, and Tommy Trimble. Honorary pallbearers will be Colbie, Jasper, Kyper, Chevy, Bentley, Wyatt, and Levi.  David Funeral Home 316 Youngsville Hwy. 337-837-9887 is in charge of arrangements.
