Lilly Mae Verret

Loreauville – A Celebration of Life Memorial Gathering will be held for Lilly Mae Verret, 84, will be held on July 8, 2017 at the daughter’s residence, 1249-B Bayou Portage Road, St Martinville, LA.

A native and resident of St. Martinville, Lilly who went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 18, 2017 at 3:22 AM at Heart Hospital of Lafayette. She had a special love for gardening and cooking, her special times were spent with her children, grandchildren, grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughter, Carolyn Bourque and her husband Charles; son, Clayton Verret and his wife Lisa; grandchildren, Angel, Crystal, Ray, Randy, Heath, Barret, Travis, Olivia and Emily; great-grandchildren; Brooke, Brittanie, Bryson, Lilly, Ashley, Matte, Clint, Layke, Kaidey,Naomi, Nikole, Todd and Sydnie; great-great grandchildren, Skyler, Cameron, Danielle, Bailey, Hailey, Miyanhti and Aubree; she also has many friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Burl Verret; parents, Anita Toffier and Sydney Horton, Sr.; brothers; Rufus, Harold, Milton, Sydney, Jr., Arthur and Richard; sister, Clara.
