Ronald C. Reaux

Broussard - A Mass of Christian Burial for Mr. Ronald C. Reaux, 81, will be held at 1:00PM on Saturday, July 1, 2017 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Fr. Keith Landry officiating. Interment will follow at Sacred Heart Mausoleum.

Visitation will be at David Funeral Home of Lafayette on Friday, June 30, 2017 from 4:00PM until 9:00PM with a recitation of the rosary at 7:00PM. Visitation will resume on Saturday, July 1, 2017 from 8:00AM until the time of the services.

A native and lifelong resident of Broussard Mr. Reaux died on Wednesday, June 28, 2017 surrounded by his loving family at his residence. He worked as an abstractor in Lafayette Parish for over 60 years. He was known for his love of baseball which he coached and enjoyed watching. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, racing homing pigeons, training hunting dogs, and having horses. His greatest love was his wife and being with his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

He is survived by two sons, Byron J. Reaux and his wife Brenda and Doyle A. Reaux and Nicole; three brothers, Neil P. Reaux, Jr. and his wife Velma, Richard Reaux and his wife Stacey, and Malcolm “Mackie: Reaux and his wife Cindy; four grandchildren, Brandon J. Reaux, Brock J. Reaux and his wife Tarrah, Brady J. Reaux, and Lotie T. Reaux; and six great grandchildren, Brette L. Reaux, Kinley L. Reaux, Landon C. Reaux, Kael J. Reaux, Kolt L. Reaux, and Jude A. Reaux.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Rita Louise Larriviere Reaux; his parents, Neil P. Reaux, Sr. and Isabelle Girouard Reaux; and a sister, Sybil Louise Reaux.

Serving as pallbearers will be Byron Reaux, Doyle Reaux, Brandon Reaux, Brock Reaux, Brady Reaux, and Lotie Reaux.

Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Neil P. Reaux, Jr., Richard Reaux, Mackie Reaux and Brette Reaux.

David Funeral Home of Lafayette at 316 Youngsville Hwy (337)837-9887 will be handling the arrangements.
