Lucille D. Meiron

New Iberia – A Celebration of life will be held for Mrs. Lucille D. Meiron, age 74, at 11:00 AM, in the David Funeral Home Chapel of New Iberia.

A visitation will also be held at David Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 25, 2017 from 10:00 AM until the time service at 11:00 AM.

Lucille was a devoted wife and loving mother, grandmother & aunt.  She was a gifted cook, baker and seamstress.  She was well known for her delicious cookies which she shared with so many!  She had a smile that would light up a room and an infectious laugh.  She never met a stranger.  Lucille loved going on cruises with Pete and enjoyed the sights and sounds of the ocean.  Most of all, she loved her family and friends.

She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Mr.  Peter A. Meiron, her daughter Patricia A. Udstuen and her husband Terry of Bremen, Indiana, her daughter Deborah S. Locke and her husband Robert of New Iberia, her grandchildren Aaron Udstuen, Michael Locke and his wife Alexandra, and Mitchell Udstuen and her great-grandchild Adam Locke.

She is preceded in death by her parents Charles C. Hull and Ardith Hollet Hull, brothers Charles W. Hull and Perry D. Hull and her sister Ardith Jean Badeaux.
