Beverly Cormier Prados

Loreauville – Funeral services will be held for Beverly Cormier Prados, 73, at 3:00 PM on Friday, August 18, 2017, at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Godwin Nzeh and Father Paul Onuegbe officiating. Burial will follow in All Saints Mausoleum.

Visitation will be on Friday, August 18, 2017, from 11:00 AM until 2:45 PM.

A native of Abbeville and a resident of New Iberia and a former resident of Loreauville, Mrs. Prados passed away on Monday, August 14, 2017, at 9:30 AM at her residence.

She retired with the Iberia Parish School Board and worked as the Janitor at Loreauville High School. She also was a LPN with Dr. George Sagrera’s Office and a newspaper carrier with the Daily Iberian in the Loreauville community for many years. She loved the Loreauville Tigers and forever cheered them on. Later in life she was a caretaker for the elderly and participated in fundraising for the Alleman Center. She loved talking on the phone for her work as well as talking to family and friends. Her grandchildren were the light of her life. She had a passion for sweets and espically baking cakes for herself and others.

She is survived by her daughters, Adrianne Prados of New Iberia and Dana Prados Goodman and her husband David Goodman, Jr. of Daphne, AL and her grandchildren, Taylor Prados, Myles Goodman, Anthony Innis, Jr., John David Goodman, Amiah Prados and Gracie Goodman.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Oris Cormier, Sr. and Deneigh Latiolais Cormier and her brother, Oris Cormier, Jr.

Pallbearers will be Cody Romero, David Goodman, Gary Westcott, Ray Porche, Jerry Latiolais, Ronald Latiolais and Richard Daigle.

Honorary pallbearers will be Myles Goodman, Anthony Innis, Jr., John David Goodman and Aaron Thibodeaux.
