Mary Carriere Daigle

Lafayette - Funeral services for Mary Carriere Daigle, 69, will be held Thursday August 17, 2017 at 2:00PM at St. Anne Catholic Church in Youngsville, with Father Keith Landry officiating. Burial will follow at a later date. Visitation will be held Thursday August 17, 2017 from 9:00AM until time of service at David Funeral Home of Lafayette.

Mary was a native of Church Point and a resident of Youngsville; she passed away Sunday August 13, 2017 at her residence in Youngsville.  Mary's faith in Jesus Christ was unwavering.  She enjoyed cooking meals for the bereaved families in her community, tending to her Monarch Butterflies, but most importantly spending time with her family and friends.

Mary is survived by her daughter Tara and her husband Scott Dohmann; two sons Chad and his wife Sarah Daigle, and Brandon and his wife Angela Daigle; grandchildren Christine Daigle, Gavin Dohmann, Ezra Dohmann, Elias Daigle, and Griffin Daigle.  Mary is also survived by her four sisters, Ursuline Venable, Dot Carriere, Audrey Matte, and Millie Bourque; her three brothers Earlin Carriere, Herbert Carriere, and Robert Carriere.

She was preceded in death by her Husband James Carlos Daigle; her parents Saul and Eva Henry Carriere; her brother Joseph Lee Carriere; and her sister Eva Ortego.

Serving as pallbearers will be Chad Daigle, Brandon Daigle, Scott Dohmann, Robert Daigle, Jesse Ortego and Bubba Carriere.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Pius School or the Catholic Charity of your choice.
