Andrew Arey "Drew" Eschete

Lafayette – Funeral services for Mr. Andrew Arey “Drew’ Eschete, 31, will be  held Thursday October 12, 2017 at David Funeral Home Chapel of Lafayette at 1:00PM ,Father William Schambough pastor of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Milton officiating.Visitation will be held Wednesday October 11, 2017 from 7:00PM until 9:00PM and will continue Thursday from 10:30AM until time of service.

“Drew”, a native and long time resident of Lafayette passed away on Saturday October 7, 2017. He worked at La Pizzeria as a kitchen manager and was a kind soul who never met a stranger. He loved cooking, listening to music, playing video games, and watching sports but his favorite was soccer. He will be remembered fondly in the hearts and memories of all who loved him.

He is survived by his parents, David "Whitey" Eschete and wife Janie Arey Eschete; his two brothers, Jordan  Eschete and Chip Eschete; his paternal grandmother Sarah Eschete; and  numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Allen Eschete; Maternal grandparents, Frances Arey Smith and Bill C. Arey; maternal step grandfather, Lee C. Smith; maternal aunt, Judy Arey ; paternal uncle, Brian Eschete, and two paternal cousins, John Allen Eschete II and Luke Grayson Crabtree.

Serving as pallbearers will be Kevin Borne, Robbie Boudreaux, Patrick Lewis, Brent Venable, Jordan Eschete, and Chip Eschete.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to your charity of choice in honor of Andrew’s name.
