Betty Mier Airhart

Lafayette - Funeral services for Betty Mier Airhart, 72,  will  be held Wednesday October 11, 2017 at 10:00AM at St. Anne Catholic Church in Youngsville, with Deacon Wynard Boutte officiating. Visitation will be held Tuesday October 10, 2017 from 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM , and will continue Wednesday from 8:00 AM until time of service.

Betty, a native of Rayne and a resident of Youngsville, she was a faithful member of St. Anne Catholic Church where she also served as a Eucharist Minister for many years. She passed away Monday October 9, 2017 at Pelican Pointe Healthcare in Maurice.

Survivors include her husband Danny Airhart Sr.; her daughter Betty and her husband Donnie Louviere; her son Danny Jr. and his wife Nichole Airhart; her grandchildren Bradley and Cullen Louviere, and Ethan and Rio Danielle Airhart. She is also survived by her brother Louis Jr. and his wife Kathy Mier; and her brother in law Peter Comeaux.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents Louis Mier Sr. and Harriet Schexnayder; and two sisters Mercedes Trelor and Annette Comeaux.

Serving as pallbearers will be Donnie and Cullen Louviere, Ethan and Jack Airhart, Craig Fontenot and Kris Leger.
