Adley Castille

Rynella – Funeral services will be conducted for Mrs. Howard M. Castille, the former Adley “Nickie” David, 80, at 12:00 PM on Saturday, October 14, 2017, at St. Marcellus Catholic Church with Father James Nguyen officiating.

Visitation will be at St. Marcellus Catholic Church in Rynella on Saturday, October 14, 2017, from 10:30 AM until 12:00 PM and a rosary will be prayed at 11:00 AM.

A native and resident of New Iberia, Mrs. Castille passed away on Wednesday, October 11, 2017, at 4:46 PM upon arrival at Iberia Medical Center.

She was a “Great Loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother” who enjoyed gardening and cooking for her family. She was a retired secretary with D. H. Castille Appliance Store in New Iberia.

She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Howard Michael Castille; her sons, Michael Castille and his wife Mona of Flowery Branch, GA, Chris Castille and his wife Sherrie and Patrick Castille and his wife Margaret all of New Iberia; her daughter, Sheri Castille DeRouen and her husband Shane of New Iberia; her sisters, Verla D. LeCompte and Peggy DeRouen and her husband Jimmy all of New Iberia; her grandchildren, Christopher Castille, Kaitlin Castille, Cody Castille, Kristie Castille, Matthew Castille, Randy James Castille, Michelle Castille, Victoria Gooch, Nicholas Castille, Leigh Ann DeRouen, Allison DeRouen Smith and Dexter DeRouen and her great grandchildren, Braidyn Castille, Cameron Castille, Cole Castille, Ava Grace Frederick, Bailey Castille, Emily Castille, Hayden Castille, Layla Castille and Alex Barras.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Adler Paul David and Pearl Miguez David and her son Randy Castille.
