Yvonne Trepagnier

Trepagnier, Yvonne, age 83, of Lafayette, Louisiana, formerly of Metairie, Louisiana, died September 30, 2017 with her family at her side. A life-long devout Catholic, she was born and raised in Metairie where she attended Metairie HS and Dominican College. She resided in Lafayette for 52 years. She was a master gardener and excelled in bonsai. She owned Bonsai of Lafayette Nursery and was active in the Lafayette Bonsai Society, holding the office of President. She is survived by a daughter, Yvette (Tommy) Cook of Tampa, Florida, two sons, Philip (Kimberly) Trepagnier of Lafayette, Louisiana and Stephen (Rhonda) Trepagnier of Jacksonville, Florida, eight grandchildren, Kenneth Cook, Racheal Cook Wheeler, Andreau Trepagnier, Elliott Trepagnier, Spencer Trepagnier, Madeline Trepagnier, Natalie Trepagnier, Charlie Trepagnier, and one great-granddaughter, Scarlet Wheeler. A Memorial Mass will take place at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Broussard on November 20, 2017 at 11:00AM, a recitation of the rosary will be at 10:00am.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
