New Iberia—Funeral Services will be conducted for Sheila B. Gonzalez, age 44, on Thursday, November 30, 2017, at 2:00 PM at David Funeral Home Chapel located at 1101 Trotter Street New Iberia with Pastor Scott Brantingham of Our Savior’s Church officiating. Burial will follow in Broussard Cemetery.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, November 29, 2017, from 11:00 AM until 10:00 PM and will resume on Thursday, November 30, 2017, at 8:00 AM until the time of services.

Mrs. Sheila B. Gonzalez went home to be with the Lord Jesus on Monday, November 27, 2017, at 1:15 PM.
Sheila enjoyed the simple things that life has to offer. She enjoyed going to the gym, play pool with friends and family and most of all she loved riding motorcycles.

She is survived by her son, Taylor Gonzalez of New Iberia; mother, Patricia Bourque Bonin of New Iberia; sisters, Sandy Saucier and her husband James of Erath, Cheryl Bonin of New Iberia; brothers, Alvin Bonin, Jr. and wife Sara of New Iberia, Johnny Bonin of New Iberia, Kirk Pellerin of New Iberia; numerous nieces, nephews and great-niece.

She was preceded in death by her husband Martin Gonzalez, her father, Alvin Bonin, Sr.; maternal grandparents, Paulinere and Addella Miguez Bourque and paternal grandparents, Ororia and Ada Louviere Bonin.

Pallbearers will be James Saucier, Shayd Saucier, B.J. Saucier, Taylor Gonzalez, James Delahoussaye and Alvin Bonin, Jr.

Honorary pallbearers will be Travis Richards, Luke Trimble.
