Loreauville – Funeral Services will be conducted for Clyde J. Broussard, 74, on Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at 2:00 PM, at David Funeral Home in Loreauville with Fr. Godwin Nevh, Associate Pastor of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Burial will follow at All Saints Mausoleum.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, January 2, 2018 from 10:00AM until the time of funeral service.
A native of Loreauville and a resident of New Iberia, Clyde was a Sugar Cane farmer for over 20 years. He was a member of the National Guard for six years, worked at Iberia Bank and Ace Machine Shop. Considered to be a workaholic, in his spare time he would enjoy watching TV to relax.
He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Elizabeth “Beth” Barrilleaux Broussard of New Iberia; daughter, Denise Viator and husband Jeffery of Loreauville; son, Keith Broussard of New Iberia; granddaughter, Lacie Viator Robinson and husband Chandler of New Iberia; grandsons, Josh Girouard and wife Kassie of Loreauville, Hunter Viator of New Iberia and Hayley Viator of New Iberia; five great-granddaughters, Tanner Mallet, Aubree Girouard, Madeline Girouard, Autumn Viator and Emmerson Robinson; sister, Mary Ann Viator and husband J.C. of New Iberia; and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Loto Broussard, Sr.; mother, Lona Berard Broussard; brother, Loto Broussard, Jr and sister, Janet Broussard.
Pallbearers will be Jeff Viator, Josh Girouard, Keith Broussard, Hunter Viator.
