Visitation will be on Thursday, January 4, 2018 from 9:00 AM until time of service. Recitation of the Rosary will be prayed on Thursday, January 4, 2018 at 10:00 AM in the funeral home by Judy Darcy.
A native and resident of New Iberia, Dolores went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at 11:12 PM at her residence. She was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church and was a religion teacher. She enjoyed gardening, baking and sewing. Her most precious times were those spent with her family and other relatives.
She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Curtis Bonin of New Iberia; daughter, Nancy Bonin of New Iberia; brother, Kenneth Judice and wife Sally of New Buaunfels, TX; grandson, Tre’ Bonin; two great-grandsons, Kainen Bonin and Ryker Bonin; sisters-in-law, Gloria Dugas of Loreauville and Janet Judice of New Iberia; brother-in-law, Cloures Dugas of Loreauville.
She was preceded in death by her father, Elby Judice; mother Olite Judice; two brothers, Shelby Judice and Elby Judice, Jr.
Pallbearers will be Tre’ Bonin, Kenneth Judice, Cloures Dugas, Douglas Ardizone, Brent Dugas and other family members.
The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the nurses of Hospice of Lourdes for their compassion in the care which they gave.
