Visitation will be held at David Funeral Home of Jeanerette on Saturday, February 24, 2018 from 8:30 AM until 10:40 AM.
A native of Altus, OK and a resident of Pensacola, FL, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at his residence in Pensacola, FL. Gregory attended the University of South Alabama from 1992 until 1993. He was a graduate of Edward Douglas White Catholic High School in Thibodaux and graduated in May 1987. He was a lover of music and enjoyed his time which he spent with his father.
He is survived by his parents, John Pope, USAF Major Retired and Judy Pope of Shalimir, FL; brothers, Bryan Pope and wife Summer of Bradenton, FL, Jeremy Pope and wife Sarah of Niceville, FL and Ryan O’Neal; sister, Sarah O’Neal; nephews, Camden Pope, Campbell Pope, Layton Pope, Ansley Pope, Landon Pope and Hamilton Pope; uncle, Charles Giglio; aunts, Linda Gatte, Margaret Gaudet, JoAnn Campo and Valerie Guidroz.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Sandra Mary Giglio; paternal grandparents, Sam and Mary Pope; maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs Joseph Giglio; uncle, Jack Houlk.
Pallbearers will be his family and friends.
