Lloyd Anthony Dupuis

A Mass of Christian Burial and celebration of life for Mr. Lloyd Anthony Dupuis, 86, will be held at 11:00AM on Thursday, March 22, 2018 at David Funeral Home of Lafayette, with Father Richard Fabre officiating, with burial to follow at St. Anne Cemetery in Youngsville. Visitation will begin at 9:00AM on Thursday until the time of service with a recitation of the Rosary at 10:00AM.

A native of New Orleans and resident of Lafayette, Mr. Dupuis was an honored veteran of the Korean War. Lloyd was retired from Union National Insurance Company with 35 years of service. He will be remembered for his great since of humor, his generosity, and his love of dancing. He will truly be missed by friends and family. Lloyd passed away Monday March 19, 2018 at his residence in Lafayette.

He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Myrtle Fabre Dupuis; Daughters, Vicki D. Ziler and her husband Jim, Melanie D. Campbell, Kellie D. Monier and her husband Philip and Laurie Guidry and her husband Christopher; ten grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren; siblings, Jessie Fremin, Joseph Dupuis and John Emery Dupuis: beloved aunt; Beverly Calais; numerous nieces and nephews and Sophia "my little dog".

He is preceded in death by his parents Charles and Lelia Dupuis; son, Lloyd Anthony Dupuis, Jr.; Brothers, Charles Dupuis, Larry Dupuis, Floyd Dupuis and Thomas Dupuis.

Serving as pallbearers will be Matt Ziler, Jim Ziler, Landon Guidry, Bennett Guidry, Christopher Guidry and Tyson Dupuis.
