Michael Lee Mistric

Lafayette - A Mass of Christian burial for Michael Lee “Mike” Mistric, 67, will be held Wednesday May 16, 2018 at 3:00 PM at St. Anne Catholic Church with Deacon Waynard Boutte officiating.

Visitation will be held Wednesday May 16, 2018 from 10:00 AM until time of services. Burial will follow in St. Anne Catholic Cemetery.

A native of Leonville and a resident of Broussard Mike loved spending time with his family and friends, he will be remembered for his love of all animals, but his greatest joy was spending time with his beloved grandchildren. Mike passed away Sunday May 13, 2018 at his residence in Broussard.

Survivors include his wife Vickie Dejean Mistric, his children Kenneth and his wife Jessica Dejean, Nicole and her husband Lucas Menard, and Stacie Mistric; his grandchildren Alexis, Alyssa, and Aubree Dejean, Sierra Pino, Otto and Arlo Menard and his special little monkey Korleigh Dugas.

Mike is also survived by his mother Beunice Carriere Mistric; sisters Elaine and her husband Mike Couvilion, Donna and her husband Gerald Pontiff, and Susan Griffin; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father Dalton Mistric.

Pallbearers will be Kevin Mann, Nicky Oprea, Tommy Oprea, Brian Couvilion, Jay Lanclos, and Joey Faulk.
