Irene Louviere Gary

Lafayette – Funeral services for Irene L. Gary, 87, will be held Friday May 18, 2018 at 10:00 AM at St. Anne Catholic Church in Youngsville with Deacon Waynard Boutte officiating.

Visitation will be held Thursday May 17, 2018 from 2:00 PM until 9:00 PM with a Rosary recited at 7:00PM and will continue Friday from 8:00 AM until time of services. Burial will follow in St. Anne Catholic Cemetery.

A native of St. Martinsville and resident of Coteau Irene passed away Monday May 14, 2018 at Chateau Terrebonne Nursing Home in Houma.

Survivors include her husband of 67 years Leonie Gary; niece Juanita Tuell; sister in law Shirley Segura; two brother in laws Vinton Gary, Sr. and his wife Juanita Gary, and Wilson and his wife Dee Gary; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents Arthur and Loumina Louviere; two sisters Agnes "Angie" Marlow, and Dorothy Shuey; three brothers Allen, Harry, and John Louviere.
