Melinda Baudoin Hebert

Funeral Services for Melinda Baudoin Hebert, 55, will be 2:30PM Friday June 8, 2018 in David Funeral Home of Lafayette with Father Ed Deguyter officiating. Interment will follow at a later date in St. Anne Mausoleum in Youngsville.

Visitation will be In David Funeral Home of Lafayette Thursday June 7, 2018 from 4:00PM until 9:00PM with recitation of the rosary at 7:00PM. Visitation will resume Friday from 9:00AM until service time.

Melinda, born in Lafayette and a resident of Youngsville, passed away Monday June 4, 2018 at Our Lady of Lourdes Medical Center. She was employed as a bus attendant for the disabled children of LPSB. She loved life and lived it to the fullest. She had a special love for her children and her lifelong friend, her dog Tico.

She is survived by her husband Mark Hebert; her son Marcus Hebert; her sister Mrs. Glenn (Vickie) Conner; father Warren Baudoin and companion Betty Hollier; parents-in-law Pierre Vergie and Joan V. Hebert; sisters-in-law Rose S. (Chris) Stoute, and Robin H. ( P’Nookie) Broussard; a nephew Dillon Conner; a niece Morgan Conner.

She is preceded in death by her mother Elaine Cormier; paternal grandparents Mr. and Mrs. George Baudoin; maternal grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Loyton Cormier; 2 brothers-in-law David “Doc” Hebert and Bill Hebert.

The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to the 5th floor staff of Our Lady of Lourdes for the wonderful care and compassion shown to Melinda.
