Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 9, 2018 from 11:30 AM until the time of the Memorial Mass at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 17 South Main St, Loreauville.
Kenneth went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center. He was a native and lifelong resident of Loreauville, and he owned and operated Segura Hardware and Water Well Service since 1963. He attended Southwestern Louisiana Institute (now University of Louisiana) and served in the U.S. Army Signal Corps. Ken loved to duck hunt and spend time in his airboat at Lake Fausse Point. He was a firm believer in hard work and lived by that mantra. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
He is survived by his two daughters, Charlotte Chaplin and husband David of Baton Rouge and Susan Segura and husband John Hunsaker of Alexandria; two sisters, Judy Theriot of New Iberia and Jennifer Neuville or Loreauville; and two grandsons, Daniel and Luke Hunsaker.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clenie Joseph Segura and Eve Gonsoulin Segura; and his sister, Willie Mae Barrilleaux.
