Barbara "Maw" Broussard

Loreauville—Funeral services will be conducted for Barbara L. Broussard, age 77, on Thursday, June 14, 2018 at 1:00 PM at St. Joseph Catholic Church located at 117 Main Street with the Rev. Barry Crochet officiating the services. Entombment will be at St. Joseph Cemetery located at 117 Main Street.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 14, 2018 at 9:00 AM until the time of service at David Funeral Home of Loreauville located at 118 S. Main Street. A recitation of the rosary will be held on Thursday, June 14, 2018 at 11:00 AM.

Barbara Louviere Broussard passed away on Monday, June 11, 2018, at 11:58 PM at the age of 77 at Iberia Medical Center. A lifelong resident of Loreauville. She was born on March 15, 1941 to Fernest and Hilda Boutte Louviere.

Barbara loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. While spending time with them she loved cooking for them, working on crossword puzzles, reading her magazines and caring for “Monkey”, her special little friend and dog.

Barbara is survived by the love of her life and husband of 58 years Allen Broussard; her two daughters, Chris Broussard and fiancé Chris Crochet, Colleen Bourque and husband Shane; one son, Steve Broussard and wife Colleen Trahan; two sisters, Mary Landry, Betty Darby and husband Wilton; one brother; J. Don Louviere and wife Janice Reed; grandchildren, Triston Bourque, Briggs Broussard, and Brynn Broussard.

Barbara will be greatly missed by her family, friends and all those who knew her.

Serving as pallbearers will be Reynolds Landry, Byron Landry, Chris Crochet, Steve Broussard, Shane Bourque and Logan Louviere.

Serving as Honorary Pallbearers will be J. Don Louviere and Donnie Louviere.

She is preceded in death by parents Fernest and Hilda Boutte Louviere.
