ERATH-Funeral Services for Shane G. Palombo,38, will be 2:00PM Saturday July 7, 2018 in David Funeral Home of Erath with Bishop Drew Rousse officiating. Burial will follow in Petry Cemetery in Meaux. Visitation will be Friday July 6, 2018 in David Funeral Home of Erath from 1:00PM until 10:00PM and will resume Saturday from 8:00AM until service time.
Shane, born in Abbeville and a resident of Erath, passed away Tuesday July 3, 2018 in his residence. He was a legendary football player for Erath during his school years, and an avid LSU fan. He had a big heart for his friends and family and he never met a stranger.
He is survived by his mother Kathy Palombo; his siblings Heather Record and husband Ricky, Adam Palombo and his wife Brandi, Michelle Williamson, Rhonda Martinez, Russell “Bubba” Palombo Jr., Shannon Larousse, Russella Langlinais, and Eva Cormier; numerous nieces and nephews; former wife Sessy Palombo; stepchildren Andrew Parchman and Gracen Parchman.
He is preceded in death by his father Russell Palombo Sr.
