Mable Bernard Clavelle

Funeral services for Mable Bernard Clavelle, 90, will be held Wednesdays July 25, 2018 at 2:00 PM in David Funeral Home, with Fr. Richard Fabre Pastor of St. Rita Catholic Church officiating.

Visitation will be held Wednesday July 25, 2018 from 9:00 AM until time of services. Burial will follow in Lafayette Memorial Park.

A native of Biloxi, and a resident of Youngsville, Mrs. Clavelle passed away Sunday July 22, 2018 at Pelican Pointe Healthcare. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be missed by all.

Survivors include two sons Ricky Clavelle and  John Clavelle Jr. and his wife Renee; three daughters Nancy and her husband David Abshire, Nita and her husband Steve Wellborn and Mary Clavelle and her partner Amy Helms; four grandchildren Andrea Abshire, Dustin and his wife Alicia Clavelle, Adam  and his wife Amy Wellborn and Devaney Clavelle. She is also survived by her three great grandchildren Hudson and Colton Clavelle, and Lennon Wellborn.

Mable was preceded in death by her husband John A. Clavelle Sr.; and her parents Fred and Nita Fabre Bernard.

Serving as pallbearers will be John Clavelle Jr., David Abshire, Dustin Clavelle, Adam Wellborn Steve Wellborn and Gerald Landry

Mrs. Clavelle’s family wishes to express a special thanks to Betty Daigle, Carla Jackson, the staff of Pelican Pointe Healthcare and Rehab, and Hospice of Acadiana.
