Michael Stephen Gaubert

Lafayette- Funeral services for Michael Stephen Gaubert, 62, will be at 2:30PM Saturday, August 25, 2018, in The Christian Life Center, with Pastor Lane Nelson officiating. Interment will follow in Lafayette Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held Saturday, August 25, 2018 in The Christian Life Center from 11:00AM until time of service.

Michael, a native and resident of Lafayette, passed away Thursday, August 23, 2018 in Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center. He was a long time volunteer with the American Red Cross as well as a firefighter with several  jurisdictions. He also volunteered with the churches he attended.  Volunteering came natural to Michael because he had a servants heart, which extended to the patients he cared for during his time as a nurse.

Mr. Gaubert is survived by his wife, Nicole LaViolette Gaubert; siblings , Raymond James Gaubert Jr. (Noemie), Angela Gaubert Says (Bill) , Pamela Gaubert Miller , Doris Gaubert Hoffpauir ( Carla); and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents Raymond James Sr. and Norma Mae Guillot Gaubert ; sisters Donna Mary Gaubert  and Deborah Marie Gaubert; and his closest friend Bill Dreis.
