Venola Hebert Boudreaux

Abbeville - Funeral Services for Mrs. Venola Hebert Boudreaux, 93, will be held on Thursday, October 11, 2018 at David Funeral Home Chapel in Abbeville at 2:00PM with Fr. Louis Richard officiating. Interment will be at a later date.

Visitation will be held at David Funeral of Abbeville on Thursday, October 11, 2018, from 10:00AM until time of service with recitation of the Rosary at 1:30PM.

A native and lifelong resident of Nunez, Mrs. Boudreaux passed away at 12:55PM on Sunday October 7, 2018, at her residence. She was a devoted mother and grandmother who loved to dance, loved a good Cajun meal, enjoyed cooking for her loved ones, and going to the casino.

She is survived by her daughter, Phyllis Thibeaux and her husband Ricky of Kaplan; three grandchildren, Joey Thibeaux, Ashley Thibeaux, and Ricky Thibeaux Jr.; and a sister, Hazel and her husband Rodney Primeaux.

She is preceded in death by her husband Keiffer Boudreaux; a son, Calvin Boudreaux; her parents, Ednor and Olite Dartez Hebert; one sister, Irene Hebert; five brothers, J.V. Hebert, Ray Hebert, Alvin Hebert, Beaulas Hebert, Doris J. Hebert; and her special companion of 27 years, Maxie Lopez.

Serving as honorary pallbearers will be, Ricky Thibeaux Sr., Joey Thibeaux, Ashley Thibeaux, Ricky Thibeaux Jr., Delores Menard, and Rodney Primeaux.
