Richard Debo

Lafayette – Memorial services for Richard Dwyer Debo, 74, will be held Saturday October 13, 2018 at 2:00 PM at David Funeral Home, with Pastor Chris Fuselier Pastor of Youngsville Baptist Church officiating. Visitation will be held Saturday October 13, 2018 from 11:00 AM until time of services.

A native of Abbeville and a resident of Youngsville, Richard was a graduate of Bolton High School in Alexandria, and also the University of Southwestern Louisiana.  He retired from the US Food and Drug Administration with 36 years of service. Richard passed away Thursday, October 4, 2018 surrounded by his family.

Survivors include his wife Anna C. Debo; three daughters Dana Debo, Tracy Debo, and Kelly and her husband Adam Wright; three grandchildren Shelby Allen, Chloe Wright and Kelsey Wright; two sisters Mary Beth and her husband Barry Hines, and Martha and her husband William Harrington.

The Debo family wishes to express special thanks to the staff of Grace Hospice and Palliative Care, Lafayette General Medical Center, and Landmark of Acadiana for the care and support given to Mr. Debo.
