Elmae Martin

Lafayette-Memorial Services for Elmae Frederick Martin, 93, will be 3:00PM Sunday November 11, 2018 at Family Life Church 2223 Dulles Dr, Lafayette, LA 70506 with Pastors Todd Menard and Kelly Segura officiating.

Elmae, born in Centerville, and a resident of Scott, passed away Sunday October 28, 2018 in her residence. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great great grandmother. Her two passions were her family and her church where she would minister to anyone in need.

She is survived by her children, Brian Martin and wife Bonnie, Linda Martin Bourque and husband Clifton, and Melissa Martin Burrows and husband Mark; siblings, Sterling Frederick, Louise F. Dukes, and Adam Frederick; grandchildren, Melanie Comeaux, Nicole Trimble, Damon Martin, Timothy Martin, Jeremy Bourque, Jennifer B. Gulsby, Janna Bourque Cardona, Joshua Burrows, and Hannah Mugaviri; 14 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Ernest B. Martin; parents, Mitchell and Louise Frederick; brother, Donald Frederick; sister, Emma Dell Meche; and a grandson, Jacob Trimble.

The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to the staff of Hospice Compassus, Dr. Kemp Coreil, Meagan, Karen, and Bronlyn.
