Virginia Howren

Lafayette - Funeral Services for Mrs. Virginia O'Neil Howren, 86, will be held at 2:00PM on Friday, November 9, 2018 at Faith Lutheran Church with Rev. Sam McPeek officiating. Interment will follow at Lafayette Memorial Park Cemetery.

Visitation will be at David Funeral Home of Lafayette Thursday, November 8, 2018 from 5:00PM until 7:00PM. Visitation will resume on Friday, November 9, 2018 from 10:00AM until the time of service.

A native of Summitville, IN and resident of Lafayette, Mrs. Howren passed away at 3:41PM on Monday, November 5, 2018 at Lafayette General Medical Center.

She is survived by one son, Richard Howren and his wife Christine of Pinckeny, MI; a daughter, Shawn Howren of Lafayette; three grandchildren, Andrea Howren, Jennifer Martindale and William Howren; eight great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

She is preceded in death by her husband, John Howren; her parents, William O'Neil and Geneva Stout; a son, Johnny Howren; and two sisters, Melba Callahan and Madeline Leasure.

Serving as pallbearers will be Wallace Barrett, Sonny Barrett, Samuel Clay, Andre Clay, Kevin Gast and Don Brumm.

Serving as Honorary pallbearers will be Herb Mathis, Benny Schovajsa and Richard Geise.

David Funeral Home of Lafayette 316 Youngsville Hwy. (337) 837-9887 will be handling the arrangements.
