Willie Trimble

Lafayette - Funeral Services for Willie J. Trimble Jr., 68, will be held Wednesday November 14, 2018 at 2:00 PM at St. Anne Catholic Church in Youngsville, with Deacon Keith Duhon, of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Milton officiating.

Visitation will be held Tuesday November 13, 2018 from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM with a Rosary recited at 7:00 PM and will continue Wednesday from 8:00 AM until time of services. Burial will follow in St. Anne Catholic Cemetery.

A native of Jeanerette and a resident of Youngsville Willie was a retired diesel tech. He loved of the outdoors will be fondly remembered by his love of fishing, hunting, camping and playing on his backhoe. But Willie’s greatest joy was playing with his grandchildren and great grandchildren and spending time with family and friends.

Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Brenda Hulin Trimble of Youngsville; three sons Shane and his wife Nicole Martin Trimble, Willie Trimble III and his fiancée Andrea Alleman, and Damian Trimble and his friend Neely Castille; his daughter Michelle T. and her husband Justin Schaubert; seventeen grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; three brothers Lonnie, Mickey, and Eldridge; and his sister Betty. Willie is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents Willie J. Trimble Sr. and Lydia Stevens Trimble; and his grandson Jacob Trimble; sister Mary; brothers Steven and Roy Trimble; and nephew Mitchell Trimble.

Servings as pallbearers will be Shane, Damian, and “Chubby” Willie Trimble III, Justin Schaubert, Dustin Plaisance, Nick Trimble, and Jordan Vice. Honorary pallbearers will be Tommy Trimble, and Tyson Landry.

The family would like to extend their thanks to the Doctors and staff of Our Lady of Lourdes.
