Yvette Leblanc Simon

Youngsville –Funeral Services for Mrs. Yvette LeBlanc Simon, 62, will be held at 1:00PM on Monday, November 19, 2018 at St. Anne Catholic Church with Deacon Keith Duhon officiating.  Interment will follow at St. Anne Cemetery. Visitation will be at David funeral Home of Lafayette on Sunday, November 18, 2018 beginning at 10:00AM until 8:00PM with a recitation of the rosary at 7:00PM.  Visitation will resume on Monday, November 19, 2018 from 9:00AM until the time of the services. A native of Baton Rouge and resident of Youngsville, Mrs. Simon died at 3:35PM on Thursday, November 15, 2018 at her residence.  She was a nurse for over 30 years, dedicated to helping others and putting others before herself.  Mrs. Yvette enjoyed cooking for her family, being with her grandchildren, and gardening. She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Ricky Simon of Youngsville; two daughters, Ashly Hoffpauir and her husband Steven of Youngsville and Brittany Simon of Youngsville; two grandchildren, Tristan Lane and Landon Lane; a brother, Randy LeBlanc-Halaby and family; and a sister, Angie DeShazer and family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ransdall “Joe” LeBlanc and Rose Frederick LeBlanc. Serving as pallbearers will be Steven Hoffpauir, Ryan DeShazer, Chase DeShazer, Jesse DeShazer, Tristan Lane, and Dan Halaby. David Funeral Home of Lafayette at 316 Youngsville Hwy.
