Mary Dugas

Lafayette – Funeral services for Mary Joyce Newgebaver Dugas, 78, will be held Friday December 21, 2018 at 11:00 AM at St. Anne Catholic Church in Youngsville with Deacon Waynard Boutte officiating.

Visitation will be held Thursday December 20, 2018 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM with a Rosary recited at 7:00 PM and will continue Friday from 8:00 AM until time of services. Burial will follow in St. Anne Catholic Cemetery.

Survivors include her life partner Robert McKinney; daughter Christina Newgebaver; one son Christopher Dugas; brother Gerald Newgebaver; sister Janelle Benoit; three grandchildren Derek Lee, Thomas Dugas, and Shannon Anderson. She is also survived by four great grandchildren.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents Alexis and Marie Desormeaux Newgebaver; her nephew Chad Newgebaver; and her grandson Chad Dugas.

Serving as pallbearers will be Thomas Dugas, Travis Benoit, Brett Brinkman, Dwayne Benoit, and Derek Lee.
