ERATH-Funeral Services for Elsie T. Dore, 77, will be at 2:00PM Sunday December 23, 2018 David Funeral Home of Erath with Father Andre Metrejean officiating. Interment will follow in Our Lady of Lourdes Mausoleum.

Visitation will be in David Funeral Home of Erath Sunday December 23, 2018 from 9:00AM until service time with recitation of the rosary at 11:00AM.

Elsie, born in Abbeville and a resident of Erath, passed away Friday December 21, 2018 at her residence. She was employed with Armentor Jewelry for many years. She loved her customers and her work family. She received her G.E.D. in 1975.

She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Ivan J. Dore of Erath; her son Blair J. Dore and wife Dina of Erath; her daughter Debbie Dore Newman and husband Joe of Greeley, CO; her mother Kirby Conner Trahan of Vidor, TX: brother Leeward Trahan of Vidor, TX: sisters Mary Ann Winegeart and husband George of Youngsville and Margaret Fowler and husband Bobby of Port Neches, TX: her grandchildren Coty, Ashley, Beau, Brandi, Ashlyn, Kylie, Ashley, Kimberly, Isaac, and 15 great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her father Eldridge Trahan.

The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to her caregiver Tina Bouillion and the nurses at Hospice of Acadiana.
