Lafayette - Funeral Services for Charles P. “Charlie” Willingham, 51, will be 11:00AM Thursday, January 17, 2019 in David Funeral Home of Lafayette with Deacon Cody Miller officiating. Interment will follow in Lafayette Memorial Park Cemetery.

Visitation will be in David Funeral Home of Lafayette Thursday, January 17, 2019 from 9:00AM until service time.

Charlie, born in Lafayette, and a resident of New Iberia, passed away Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at Belle Teche Nursing Home in New Iberia. He was employed as a Master Automotive Mechanic for many years. He enjoyed all outdoor activities, especially NASCAR.

He is survived by his wife, Fran Willingham of Lafayette; his mother, Mary C. Willingham of Lafayette; two sisters, Connie W. Miller and husband Dale of Youngsville, and Cathy W. Veverica and husband Mark of Carencro; a niece, Jamie Rutherford and husband Dustean of Youngsville; a nephew Jacob Latta of Lafayette.

He is preceded in death by his father, Collins Willingham Jr.

The family would like to thank Heart of Hospice and the staff of Belle Teche Nursing Home for their care and concern during this difficult time.
